About Us

Youth Action for Change (YAC) will host and manage ‘Forgotten Diaries”. YAC is an award winning global, youth-led organisation inspiring and empowering young people worldwide to become active change makers in their own communities. YAC is legally registered as a non-profit organisation, is apolitical, non-confessional and has about 1,200 members in over 140 countries worldwide.

At YAC we strive to empower young change makers worldwide, providing them with tools and encouraging them to tackle the issues affecting them, their peers and their communities so as to be ‘the change they want to see in the world’.

YAC has been the first organisation of this kind, employing the peer-to-peer methodology to offer young people free online courses and other educational activities on a vast array of subjects - including Human Rights, Sustainable Development, Millennium Development Goals, Media for Change, Social Leadership and many more - to help them tackle the matters affecting them and the world at large.
